JUUP PRO

A wood-burning stove for your sauna’s needs.

In a public sauna, the stove may be warm from morning to evening. Guests come and go, plenty of löyly is enjoyed, and the stove also needs to fit the daily work of the person tending it.

We design and make stove solutions for public and commercial saunas together with clients and designers. The starting point can be a stove from our range or a solution designed entirely for the project. The sauna’s size, use and desired löyly guide the choice.

JUUP stove in the Attercop sauna in Brooklyn

Completed projects

Attercop – Brooklyn, New York

Attercop is a large communal sauna in Brooklyn. Architect Sami Rintala / Rintala Eggertsson Architects designed the sauna for Culture of Bathe-ing in February 2026.

We designed and made a wood-burning stove for the needs of this 80 m³ sauna, which accommodates approximately 70 people.

Villa Vihta 2.0 – Ikaalinen

Villa Vihta 2.0 is a public sauna maintained by Löylynlyöjät ry on Toivolansaari in Ikaalinen. The sauna, with room for nearly 30 people, reopened in 2024 with a bespoke stove we made for the association.

Designed together with the sauna association

The plans were refined with the association. With the daily work of heating and maintenance in mind, we discussed heating from outside, the door height in relation to the grate, the flue connection and chimney sweeping.

The stove is designed for the way the sauna is used.

The sauna’s size is only the starting point. We also consider how long it is heated, how many people visit and what kind of löyly is desired.

The sauna and its löyly

The sauna’s volume, glass surfaces and construction, operating hours, number of guests and desired löyly guide the design of the stove.

For the person tending the stove

Placement, adding wood, ash removal and maintenance are considered as part of the whole. Any special dimensions, door solutions and flue connections are assessed for the project.

Part of the sauna’s architecture

The stove’s proportions and appearance are considered alongside the layout and practical needs of the sauna.

Technical details and installation requirements are defined according to the chosen solution.

How a project progresses

  1. 1.

    Tell us about the sauna

Send us preliminary dimensions, a sketch or a photograph and tell us how the sauna will be used. You do not need finished drawings to start a conversation.

  2. 2.

    Let’s find the right solution

Together we discuss the stove’s sizing, placement and design, and agree on the scope of delivery, price and schedule.

  3. 3.

    We make the agreed stove

We make the stove according to the agreed plan and provide the agreed technical and installation information.

Tell us about the sauna you are planning.

Your plans can still be at an early stage. Send us a short description of the sauna and how it will be used, and we can explore what kind of stove would suit it.
