Terms of sale.

Standard carrier rates apply to phone calls. JUUP does not charge additional service fees.

Product pick-up and return address:Ab Juup Oy / XL-Motor Oy, Lopotintie 4, 32210 Loimaa, Finland.
Please schedule pick-ups in advance. Return procedures are described in section 11.

2. Application of these terms

These terms apply to products purchased directly from Ab Juup Oy online, via email or through other agreed methods. We deliver to Finland and separately agreed international destinations.

A consumer is a natural person purchasing primarily for non-business purposes. Business customers are other purchasers such as companies and organizations. Section 17 applies only to business customers.

Mandatory statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

When purchasing from a dealer, the dealer is the contracting party and their terms of sale apply. JUUP manufacturer warranty applies in accordance with its warranty terms.

3. Ordering and formation of the contract

Before ordering, you will receive details on products, pricing, payment, delivery and applicable terms. Please check the model, accessories, dimensions, intended use and delivery address.

In our webshop, a binding agreement is formed when you place an order with payment obligation and we send an order confirmation accepting it.

In quotation-based sales, the contract is concluded when you accept our binding quotation within its validity period, or when we confirm your order in writing.

4. Products and delivery contents

Delivery contents are defined by the product description and order. Sauna stones, chimneys, protective walls, water heaters and other accessories shown in display photos are included only if expressly stated or ordered.

Natural wood materials and handcrafted finishes may exhibit minor variations in grain and tone. Such variation is a natural characteristic that does not affect safety or agreed quality.

5. Prices and payment

For consumers, the total price including taxes and delivery fees charged by JUUP is stated before ordering. Business prices indicate separately whether VAT is included. Currency is EUR unless agreed otherwise.

Webshop payment methods and payment service providers are shown at checkout. For domestic invoicing, payment terms are 14 days net from invoice date upon delivery unless agreed otherwise.

6. Manufacture and delivery time

JUUP stoves are primarily crafted to order. Product-specific build time and estimated transport time are indicated before ordering.

Shipping week in the order confirmation indicates the week the goods leave the production facility. Transport time is added to this.

We recommend confirming fixed installation bookings only after product arrival.

7. Delivery and receipt

Delivery method, address and included logistics services are agreed before ordering. Standard freight delivery does not include carrying indoors or installation.

In consumer sales, risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer when the customer or their designated recipient takes physical possession of the product.

8. International deliveries

For international orders, delivery country, location, Incoterms® 2020 terms and customs/tax responsibilities are agreed prior to order confirmation.

9. Suitability and installation

Please inform us before ordering of the installation country, sauna dimensions, ventilation, structures and commercial/public use.

10. Custom products and order changes

Custom dimensions, bespoke structures or engravings are agreed in writing.

11. Consumer right of withdrawal and returns

Withdrawal notice

Consumers have the statutory right in remote distance sales to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Notify us of withdrawal in writing to myynti@juup.fi or via the model withdrawal form below.

12. Transport damage and inspection

Check the shipment upon receipt. Ask the carrier to note any visible damage on transport documents and inform us promptly with photographs.

If a product does not match agreed specifications or has a defect, contact myynti@juup.fi.

In consumer transactions, JUUP liability is determined by applicable statutory law.

16. Personal data and materials

Personal data required for order processing is handled according to our Privacy policy.

17. Additional terms for business customers

This section applies exclusively to B2B business transactions. Standard delivery term is EXW Loimaa Incoterms® 2020 unless agreed otherwise.

18. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Finnish law. For consumer disputes, help is available from consumer advisory services (kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta).

19. Language versions and amendments

Terms are provided in the contract language agreed with the customer.
