Warranty conditions

Warranty conditions

Ab Juup Oy grants Juup stoves a 10-year warranty against rusting through and manufacturing defects for household use, and a 1-year warranty for professional use.

LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY

The buyer must take care of the product carefully. Upon receipt of the product, the buyer must check that it is not damaged during transport or storage. Observed defects must be reported to seller immediately.

The manufacturer provides a rusting through warranty for the product, which covers internal rusting under certain conditions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any defects or lacks in the product resulting from transportation or improper storage, improper installation, use, neglect of maintenance or placement of the product in a space where conditions do not meet the manufacturer’s recommendations.

The use of seawater, or water otherwise unsuitable for the stove, will void the warranty immediately.

DEFECT REPORTING

The buyer must report a defect or malfunction of the product as soon as it occurs. The notification must be made to the manufacturer or the seller of the product.

MANUFACTURER'S MEASURES UNDER WARRANTY

Compliance with the warranty conditions is always assessed on a case-by-case basis.

The manufacturer will repair or replace the defective product on the basis of a valid warranty statement. Repair or replacement is at the expense of the manufacturer. The manufacturer is entitled to use the most financially feasible option. The warranty for the repaired product remains otherwise unchanged.

The manufacturer will not cover the buyer for any damage caused by a product defect, loss of business or any other direct or indirect damage.
